DollarsDirect Australia Forum Terms of Use

 

By submitting user generated content to the DollarsDirect Australia Forum (the "Forum"), you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions for use of the DollarsDirect website [http://www.dollarsdirect.com.au] and these terms of use for content submissions. Together, these form our Terms of Use and they will apply each time you submit content.

 

If you are under 18 years of age, you must not submit content to the Forum unless you first obtain your parent or guardian's permission.

 

If you do not agree to be legally bound by our Terms of Use, you should not submit content to the Forum.

 

To protect your privacy, do not post specific loan details within the Forum. If you have questions about your loan, please call Customer Service at 1 800 060 892.

 

Responses are typically posted within 24 hours, but may take longer on weekends.

 

No spam

-          Posting the same message more than once across the Forum is not allowed. Please post your message in the proper section. Duplicate content will be deleted.

 

No personal details

-          Please do not share your personal information or other users’ personal information on the Forum, particularly email addresses, contact details and/or bank details.

-          Any personal information submitted by you to the Forum will be deleted and will not be retained or used by us for any purpose.

 

No questions related to personal account information

-          If you have questions related to your personal account, please contact us directly at 1 800 060 892 or at support@dollarsdirect.com.au. You can also use our Live Chat feature, where customer service agents will be available to assist you.  Please do not post questions or comments related to your personal account.

 

No advertisements

-          Please do not use this Forum to promote other brands or products. If a post contains classified or commercial advertising, it will be deleted.

 

No profanity or adult language

-          Please refrain from using any language that would offend another user. Posts containing offensive language or profanity will be deleted.

 

Posts will be publicly visible

-          When posting on the Forum, please keep in mind that this is a public forum and is accessible to everyone. Although your email address will remain private, be careful of what you post.

 

Posts will be deleted or edited if they contain the following:

-          Personal attacks or insults toward others or groups of others that could be offensive

-          Copyrighted material or other material that infringes the intellectual property rights of another party or parties

-          Unauthorized third-party material (such as trademarks, trade secrets, slogans, etc.)

-          Identical posts

-          Posts with the sole purpose of bumping threads

• Bumping can include, but is not limited to, posting useless information, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread current and at top of the Forum

-          Personal or account-specific information

-          Slanderous, libelous, or defamatory statements or anything else that might violate someone’s privacy

-          Any posts that encourage unlawful or violent acts or demonstrated illegal intent

-          Sexually explicit material

-          Links to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the Forum community

 

Moderators reserve the right to delete or edit any post or topic for legal or any other reason

-          Moderators reserve the right to delete or edit your post if it violates any of the above-mentioned guidelines or for any other reasons they find appropriate.

 

Moderators reserve the right to delete any inactive thread

-          Moderators reserve the right to delete any thread that has been inactive for at least 3 months.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

 

As between you and us, you own the copyright in your own contributions to the Forum and we will endeavour to attribute those to you. You agree, however, that we may not always be able to publish your name alongside your contribution and therefore you expressly consent to the infringement of any moral rights (including your right of attribution) under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and, to the extent legally possible, under any equivalent laws elsewhere in the world.

 

You agree, by submitting your content to the Forum, to grant Dollars Direct LLC and its related bodies corporate an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty free, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, communicate and make available to the public by any media (including online and print) anywhere in the world for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution. If you do not want to give us rights to use your contributions for all purposes, you should not make a contribution to the Forum.

 

By submitting content to the Forum, you warrant that your contribution:

 

a) is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to us for the purposes specified in these Terms of Use ; and

 

b) complies with these Terms of Use.  

 

You will be responsible for all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by DollarsDirect LLC and/or our related bodies corporate as a result of any breach of warranty given by you under these Terms of Use, or any failure by you to act in accordance with these Terms of Use.

General

 

We may change these Terms of Use from time to time, and you should review them regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes that we make. Each time you make a submission, you will be bound by the Terms of Use as in existence at that time.

 

We may choose to transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and obligations under this agreement for any reason.

 

Any term in this agreement that is found to be unfair or unenforceable will be treated as deleted and the remainder of the terms will continue to govern your use of the Forum.

 

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
